What Manner Flies All Hallowed Eve

If a man harbors any sort of fear, it makes him landlord to a ghost. ~ Lloyd Douglas

In case you missed it, I am posting Friday’s newsletter content here for prosperity and a place for you to post your comments.

Quote …
What a great time to consider a conundrum.   Should Traffic Exchanges maintain clean membership data bases?

A List, a list, it is your list – of the silent and dead to all. So should a Traffic Exchange maintain a cemetery of what was, or a clean place of advertising power for those who understand its use?

Having a list of 40,000 or 50,000  or even having created a list of 100,00 souls that may rise up on Hallow’een to shudder their protest makes for lost time, costly server issues and space better used to present the active surfer and promoter with all the support they can ask for.

What do you think?  Are you creating profit off those inactive souls who haunt your downline?  Do you have unexpected hope that all will rise and activate their membership?

End Quote …

Active membership means you do eventually surf, even if it is like some  TE ghosts, say once a year or if your membership appears threatened to you.

There is no threat to those who keep their membership alive.  It means they have other fish to fry and are busy elsewhere for the time being.

However, there is the long past caring member. Dead letter email accounts; active members sitting under a sponsor who left and forgot to unsubscribe.   On the other side of the coin are thousands who prefer to go it alone. They do not want the personal connection. Try FaceBook or Twitter if you want a social experience.

If you really want your list to remain then why are you inactive (suspended)? Why is your profile outdated or empty?    What is stopping you from getting in the groove, of connecting one way or the other with those members in your downline?

We could be like many TE owners and just take actions as we see appropriate to our growth. Instead, we have posted in our newsletters and discussed this need in our conferences.  There has been plenty of opportunity to make your wishes known, or for you to take personal sponsorship action in connecting with your downline.

This one final step of connecting with you  on this subject of clean data base membership is here and now.   We look forward to your positive responses.

Loved your comment about lost souls!

Makes you wonder when you hear about TE with 100,000+ members.
Just how many of them are “lost souls”?

Are TE owners so proud of those massive numbers, they dare not get
rid of the 90,000+ dead members that haven’t logged in for the past
    several years?

Dead list members do you no good – period!

I can only state my own feelings and convictions here.
What is it that people are looking for and how are they going to get it?
Behind everything that is done online there is a choice. Hungry people
who want to know need the information to grow and move forward to
meet their goal. When that information goes out and is continually
ignored why keep knocking on closed doors?
Defining those who want to learn and become part of something
worthwhile begins a journey full of riches in sharing and companionship.
Blind minds love a url. Seeking minds learn what the url can accomplish.
Productive minds can take a url, build on it and produce value that leads
    to satisfaction.
If all that is desired is a coin in a hat then loving the url is where one wants
to remain. When the shallowness of a url becomes evident the seeking mind
knocks on the door to a knowlege base. It screams, “I want to know!”
Productive urls share all things enlightening and guiding. Satisfied url
    owners communicate.
People join programs and use them without contributing as much as a
thankyou. Its like a layer of lard on a hearty stew. Skim off the lard and
the ingredients become visible. Heat that stew up and it becomes edible.
10khits4unow was and still is an open door that takes productive minds
with their urls and funnels them through revealing a hearty meal that
satisfies. When the stew cools you skim off the lard and heat it up again.
There isn’t much value in lard. The meat is under that layer.
I ask you, “Does your url contain meat?”

    Urls that satisfy

  3. I agree that there is no point in keeping the ‘lost souls’ especially if you do
contact them occasionally to try to inspire them. If a sponsor just collects
as many affiliates as they possibly can and then disappears well they deserve
not to have an active downline. It is disheartening though when you do your
best to encourage those who join you and you log into your back office and see
    a line of; inactive, inactive….
