Traffic Exchange Demise? You Decide

Traffic Exchange Education

In the Beginning

I am going to attempt to write a series of educational articles on history of
operation and , in my opinion, Degradation of traffic exchanges (now known as
TE’s). In the beginning, when the internet was still young, TE’s were formed for
the specific purpose of creating traffic to real web sites( not other traffic
generating sites). Please note that the principal of this operation was you show
me your site or opportunity and I show you mine. This makes us potential
customers for each others real products. Now keep in mind that these are real
products or opportunities.

Now one seldom sees a real opportunity in a TE. You see Proclaimed Illegal
Matrix programs and such as well as an overwhelming number of other traffic
entities. However it is not the presence of many traffic entities. It is all the
distractions that have a become an integral part of the TE’s.

In desperate attempts to improve the flow of traffic across TE’s owners have
added just about every distraction they could think of and they are still doing
it. Please don’t blame the TE owners as technology is the real culprit.

One of the first real distractions was the introduction of gaming to TE’s which
was at first harmless. It has now escalated to spitting out cash prizes. This a
distraction from purpose as these people are now participating in TE’s for the
primary purpose of getting cash prizes and could not care less if they even see
the sites they are surfing through. Watch for more editorials on this subject
from this author. Please leave comments from you viewpoint.
